Join our community cooking masterclass at The Market Place this March!

If you would like to learn to cook, but don’t know where to start, the cookery taster session next month is the perfect place. The Market Place has partnered with Bay Tree Cooking Academy CIC to host a live cooking demonstration on Wednesday 2 March. 

Our aim is to help you learn how to prepare healthy, affordable meals and learn more about the ingredients we stock at our community shop. Michelle from Bay Tree Cooking Academy CIC will deliver a masterclass and demonstrate how easy it can be to prepare and cook a much-loved meal from scratch. Plus, you will have the opportunity to sample the meal afterwards.  

The session will begin at 10am and is open to members and non-members of The Market Place. To attend, email our community investment team on getinvolved@southliverpoolhomes.co.uk to register.  

One-day cooking class 

If you're keen to expand your skills even further, we will be running a one-day cooking class on Wednesday 6 April from 9.30am - 2.30pm, giving you the opportunity to get some real hands-on experience. 

There are 10 spaces available in the class and it’s free to attend. Michelle will take you through a recipe which you will prepare alongside her in the class. It’s free to attend, with lunch provided. Every participant will be given the ingredients and hopefully you will have a lovely dish to take home with you!
