The Market Place launches summer drawing competition for kids

The Market Place is running a fortnightly drawing competition for kids over the summer holidays. Youngsters are invited to draw a picture that represents our community shop for a chance to win a fortnightly prize! 

We’re calling on kids across Speke and Garston to create and draw their interpretation of three different themes. You can find a list of the topics and the closing date for each drawing below: 

• Thursday 27 July: Eating more fruit and vegetables 
• Thursday 10 August: Reducing food waste 
• Thursday 24 August: Being kind  

We ask that parents and guardians bring the marvellous creations to our community shop by Thursday each week. The Market Place is open on the following days and times: 

• Tuesday: 10am to 1pm 
• Wednesday: 10am to 12:00pm 
• Thursday: 2pm to 4pm 

Please include your child’s name, address and a contact number on the back of each drawing so we can get in touch with the winners.  

One winner will be randomly selected each week to win a £10 Smyths gift voucher and contacted by The Market Place project team.
