Back to school pizza pasta bake!

The new school term is nearly upon us and if you’re starting to think about after school eats, we have an easy, tasty recipe for you to try! With just a handful of ingredients needed to rustle this one-pot dish together, pizza pasta bake is bound to be a hit with the whole family! Check out the recipe below.

Ingredients

  • 350g pasta
  • 2 x tins of chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 500ml stock
  • 100g grated cheese

Method

  1. To make the tomato sauce, empty both tins of chopped tomatoes in a bowl and add a pinch of salt, pepper, garlic powder and oregano. Mix well
  2. Place the uncooked pasta into an ovenproof dish then pour over the tomato sauce and spread over the pasta, using the back of a spoon or spatula
  3. Next, pour the stock over pasta and sauce
  4. Place the dish in the oven 180°c for 15 minutes. After the allotted time, remove and stir
  5. Place dish back in the oven for another 15 minutes
  6. Give the pasta another stir and sprinkle on the cheese, plus any extra toppings you would like to add (pepperoni, for example)
  7. Pop the dish back into the oven for a final 10 minutes
  8. Once cooked, remove from oven, allow to stand for 5 minutes, then serve!
