You are invited to the relaunch event for The Market Place and our reception area!

We’re delighted to share with you that our community shop, The Market Place and our reception in Parklands, Speke, are officially reopening on Friday 6 December.

Our reception area, The Market Place and The Market Place Social have all undergone extensive refurbishment, and we want to show you what we’ve been working on.

Whilst our reception service reopened earlier this month, we’ve been adding the finishing touches to our community shop and shared space.

Both The Market Place and The Market Place Social will reopen on Friday 6 December and we are inviting you to mark the occasion with us!

Join us from 11.30am, to check out our updated reception area, shop at the new and improved community shop and find out what’s happening this December at The Market Place Social. If you are not already a member of The Market Place, pop along and we can sign you up on the day.

Our friends at Baytree Catering will be on hand, rustling up a variety of healthy meals and providing food samples for you to try.

There will be tea, coffee and cake for all, music from a live band and the shelves of our community shop with be fully stocked, ready for you to shop for your weekend essentials!

When is the SLH reception open?

Now that work is complete, our normal reception service has resumed on the following days:

• Monday - 10am to 4pm
• Wednesday - 9am to 1pm
• Friday - 9am to 1pm

When can I visit The Market Place?

The Market Place has undergone a full refurbishment. We have transformed the space to provide a better shopping experience with wider aisles suitable for mobility aids including wheelchairs and scooters. And it’s now even easier to access The Market Place Social from the front of the shop.

Following the event, the shop will be open on the following days and times:

• Tuesday: 10am to 1pm
• Wednesday: 10am to 12:00pm
• Thursday: 2pm to 4pm
